Getting Along

Room 16 has been talking a lot about treating others the way we want to be treated. We have been reading stories, watching videos, acting out scenarios and having some really good discussions about how to be a good friend, as well as using our manners and being a respectful person. A real great website is wedolisten.org

I recommend visiting this site as a family, and taking the time to have some meaningful discussions about some of the social skills on the site. 

We also practiced using "I care language" today.  We practiced using our words to solve problems. 

Happy 100th Day of School!

Today was the 100th day of school!  Some of our 100 day activities included:

- building a structure using 100 cups

- colour by the code-100 day even and odd

- building stacks of 10 lego peices- make a guess!  Will we have less, more or enough pieces equal to 100?

- 100 day exercises

- 100 day writing.... And more!
